Abstract submission is now open. Given the different types of submissions we have decided to review abstracts on a rolling basis. This means reviewers will consider abstracts within two weeks of submission and authors will be contacted within four weeks from submission regrading the outcome of their proposal/abstract. Please contact the administrator if you haven’t heard back from us or if you would like additional information about your abstract/propsal/submission or performance.
When all the presentation/performance and paper slots are full the conference abstract submission portal will close, if slots remain submission will close on the 1st March 2018.
If you have any questions or queries, or experience problems submitting an abstract please contact the administration team on by e mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Abstract submission can be made in the following categories:
- Paper/multi-media presentations – please provide a 200 word abstract, including title, author(s), affiliation, and type of presentation (traditional paper read, performed, poetic, story, combination, film, multi-media). If you would like to form a panel around a single issue please put together 4 papers to be submitted by the lead author who is required to write a short synopsis of the panel and its aim and include individual details of each paper.
- If you would like your research to be considered for the “in-progress” session, please clearly mark this on your abstract.
- Showcase event including performance, installations and films – please provide a 100 word abstract for your work, along with the length, type of work, and contact details of members of the creative team who worked on the project. In the case of multi authored pieces, at least one member of the team (though of course this can be more) should register and attend the conference, commit to a Q&A, and take responsibility for the technical requirements of the performance/instillation.
- Please consider submitting your paper/presentation for publication in a special issue of Frontiers in arts-based research and public engagement. Details to follow and will be circulated at the conference.
